Popular poker variants

Texas Hold'em

The most popular poker variant in the world. Build the best hand using two hole cards and five community cards. Play multiple tables at the same time on metbel.

Most popular

Omaha Hi

Play with four hole cards and five community cards — but you must use exactly two hole cards to build your hand. The chances of big hands are higher, making it far more exciting.

High action

Omaha Hi-Lo

The pot is split between two winners — both the highest and the lowest hand can win. Ideal for learning dual strategy.

Strategic play

Seven-Card Stud

No community cards — each player receives seven cards and builds their best hand from five of them. The preferred variant for fans of the classic tradition.

Classic style

Short Deck Poker

Play with a 36-card deck with cards below 6 removed. The hand rankings are different, the strategy is fresh — and the action is non-stop.

Fast paced

Poker tournaments

Regular poker tournaments are held at metbel. Enter with a set buy-in and defeat all other players to win the grand prize.

Advice from experienced players

Increase your chances of winning

The key to success in poker is understanding position play, evaluating hand strength and reading your opponent's behaviour. At the metbel poker table you will have the opportunity to apply all three of these skills together.

Learning hand selection is the most important place to start. Rather than trying to play every hand, choose strong starting hands. Bankroll management is equally important — never use a large portion of your bankroll in a single session.

Bluffing is an effective tool, but it must be used at the right moment. Practice at freeroll tables on metbel, sharpen your strategy and then move to bigger tables.

Remember — every decision matters in poker. Making the right decisions consistently leads to profitable results in the long run.
